GrNiteCh PR James' Tough Glass Shaker

Guy's i am very happy to say we have Shaker back home here in Tennessee. We will be paying Shaker up as UKC performance sire. Shaker made Grand at a very young age and is all coondog. He is a direct son out of Glass and like Glass is deadly accurate and one of the best handling dogs a man can ever follow to the woods. Shaker left here a few years ago because of some hard times that we all experience but is home again and will remain home for the rest of his days. I sure missed him and could'nt be happier to have him back in Tennessee! We look forward to making some crosses on Shaker in the near future. Here are a couple pictures of Shaker on the wood from past hunts and one of him when i picked him up today to bring him home. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who played a part in Shaker coming home!

Thanks Rory! We wasted no time hitting the timber with Shaker. We hunted tonight in rain and a steady rain at that. Shaker aint lost his touch. We treed 3 singles tonight and loved every minute of it, rain and all! Wanted to take a few pictures but raining to hard to pull the phone out. Glad to see Shaker back in West Tennessee. If Tank gets neglected you can send him to middle Tennessee......

Thanks Greg! I doubt Tank will get neglected too bad but if so i will holler at you. We are going to get Shaker's count tested before offering him to public for stud. Tank is good to go and throwing really nice dogs so far. If Shaker is good on count we have a cross or two in mind for him as well. Thanks for looking in on us.

We took Shaker out again last night. The ole boy looked good! Split with the meat! Just like ole times. My gyp off Tank and Butter looked good last night too. Dolly got first strike and tree and had meat. After the walk my back was not up to snuff so we quit early. It was a good thing we did the storms rolled in shortly after we made it home.

My Uncle Charles called me tonight wanting to go for a short hunt. I had been working my garden up and was wore out and didnt really feel up to it but hated for him to go by himself so i got ready and headed over his way. I didnt carry a dog tonight since i was so tired. I am sure glad i went though! We cut Shaker loose and in no time he was struck and treed. Long story short we did that three times and he had meat all three times. Shaker looked great and we got home bout 11:00 oclock. We are very proud to have ole Shaker back and my Uncle Charles is having a blast hunting him. He has made roughly 25 trees or so with Shaker now and only one tree did he not find the coon but it could have been there since the leaves are on here now. I am enjoying hunting with Shaker again but i think i am enjoying watching my uncle and hearing the excitement in his stories while he is hunting him even more. It just dont get no better than that. Thanks for reading. I'll try to post a video tomorrow.
