The most overlooked blue stud of the past
Which blue male, from the past, would you say is the most overlooked, and under-appreciated stud from the past????
I am posting a picture of one of the most overlooked studs of the past. It is, Earl Hill's Ark. Blue. Elbert Vaughn owned an Ark. Blue. Marvil Hill owned an Ark. Blue. I think LeRoy Penny, at one time, had an Ark. Blue. This male belonged to Mr. Earl Hill. Blue was the sire of Smokey River Blue Bart, Edisto River Blue Sail, and a great reproducer of Smokey River fame, Smokey River Blue Sage. He also sired S.R. Kit, S.R. Blue Majesty, SR Blue Queen, S.R. Blue Gal, and Smokey River Blue Fanny II. These females, when crossed with Diamond Jim, produced some phenomenal hounds. Their offspring wrote "Bluetick History." Most people don't know anything about him, or the contribution he made to making the breed better.
