Folks I had the good pleasure of hunting with this dog about a year ago while on his way to grand. He did a nice job the night that I was with him. I was laid up with my knee and couldn't make all the trees but I was spectating on a cast.
Good Strike dog-Honest! Dominated the cast with his strike power and my nephew was hunting a pretty good strike dog.
Good Mouth- Sounded like a hound
Independent- Didn't seem to hear or care if other dogs were running and or treeing, he did his own thing.
Good tree dog. I listened to him tree for 45 minutes to an hour on that last drop, and he was just as steady at the end of that time as he was when he first started treeing.
Give this dog a look if you think any of those traits would improve on what you are trying to accomplish.
P.S. I don't own a hair on him, nor do I have anything to gain, personally, by sharing this information. This is simply what I saw on the night I had the privileged of following him.
Good Luck, Jamie, Danielle, and all others associated with this line of hounds!!
