Pup trainer

I was given a female walker (Jodi) 7 years ago. Jodi had done some winning in the local hunts but was unable to have pups. So with a promise from me (I would take care of Jodi for the rest of her days) Jodi was given to me. Jodi did help train my pup but i found I enjoyed hunting Jodi. For the next 5 years me and Jodi Hunted many nights together. Treeing coons night after night. 2 years ago I stopped hunting Jodi at the age 13 Jodi was going blind . Now Jodi is 15 and blind and unable to hear but healthy. Jodi is a true coondog.

That is a great thing you are doing for a kid,,makes me wish I were a kid,,but I'm just a older man that tries to hunt afew days a week with my bum legs,,,lol,,I've got a heavy clover bred 7 month old pup, that's all I have but my brother has 2 older dogs, female is heavy clover, but they all live with me,,and they got it made,,they live in the house also,,and all my friends know I don't sell a dog,,they live their life out with me,,I've got afew buried out back,,
Just wanted to compliment you on what you are doing,,take care

!!!

I commend your decision, most of the time we give youth a puppy or young dog, which as a rule doesn't work out ! If a youth is given a older broke hound, the youth will learn more from that hound an enjoy our sport even more ! I myself was given several pups as a kid an ruint most of them, that's why I have an old female her ( coondog ) that the local teenage boys hunt an have a ball with, but she comes home every night so I know she is taken care of . you are doing a good thing.
