 Gr.Nt.Ch.-PKC Ch. Moonlight Outlaw Mac made a dry run last night...


I took Mac to the Peru Indiana UKC RQE last night to see how he might do when the zone quarter finals for the UKC World Hunt are held there later this year. There was a big turn out, 57 dogs and we hunted public state ground that gets pounded most nights by everyone and their brother. One guy in our cast even said he hunted the exact same spots the night before in a pkc hunt and they didnt score very well there.
Somebody forgot to tell Mac, because he treed 5 coons and a den tree and scored 850+ and won 1st place...and that was with me laying back on the last two trees. We had a lot of split trees and the walkers took some minus for a few slicks but we had a great cast of guys. This was Mac's first rqe this year. He also won 1st place at the first rqe I put him in last year. We went to the zone in Iowa last year and did not draw a good guide either night with neither cast having enough score to even make it to the finals. I hope this dry run where the zone will be this year is a good sign

Ya, it didnt give enough details for most people...so my phone has been blowing up since 8am this morning wanting to hear the whole story so I decided to post some details about the hunt. Should have done it last night when I got home but I was wiped out. Some people don't understand that to win...you have to stay out late and its not nice to call people who stay out late at 8 am the next morning

I just think you're trying to dominate the board, like one of those stud pages that posts the same 2-3 pictures over and over. Who do I need to contact about this?

Maybe if I could win a time or two I'd do some of that Lambert bragging. My day will come and when it does, Ima plaster this place like cheap wallpaper.

Thanks everyone!
Mac is a consistent tree'er of real live wild raccoons anywhere in the country that I choose to drop him and against any dogs I drop him with. I am not reallyin the stud dog business as I prefer to hunt and promote females...but Mac is the kind of stud I would want to breed to if I had a top female so thats one reason I am promoting him and what he is winning so people can get the facts. Im not in it to make money...I am in it to produce better, bigger winning redbones and Mac should do that with the breeding behind him and the natural talent and ability he has. He has won so many times all over the country that its far beyond luck. This dog has skill and coon treeing ability that many in this breed rarely get a chance to witness and if he lives a long life I am sure he will add to his list of wins. Good luck to everyone...I see a lot of potential in the redbone breed this year...so lets all get out there and show what they can do!
