ive been noticing a lot lately that ppl are posting things they need not too im on a few forums and facebook on many pages and everyone need to take a step back and think about what they are posting there is an organization that I wont name that has been hitting coon hunting pretty hard lately on social media and the things ive seen really like made me say wow how stupid can we all be to shoot ourselves in the foot the second some anti hunting group post something everyone blows up and bashes them like crazy with post of pictures of dogs with animals fighting or bloody coons on the tailgate this is something that needs to be addressed we are our own worst enemy and we are killing our self and our future generations people be smart about how you voice your opinion use smart words and comments that can be backed up with facts not bashing and cursing as a whole we are great people there are a few bad seeds but hey it happens everywhere I truly love this sport and so do my kids I want them to have what we have in there future

Some org is hitting on our sport on social media and you decline to name them? Why?

As for the end of the night tailgate photos, I'm not inclined to go under cover. There is an assumption that if you can't show it, there must be something wrong about.

i understand what you mean by the picture thing but what ive been noticing lately is ppl posting not just pictures of the game they have taken but very unsatisfactory pics as in like shot all up with 20 holes in them coons and dogs fighting coons or other game the pics with guys just shooting up coons just because 20 times is not very sportsman like thats what im getting at those orginazations use pics like that aginst us to ppl that have no clue what we really do and the conservation aspect of it im not posting names of organazations because im not useing this post to wage war just to hope to open our own eyes some if you really want to know the name of this org. pm me basicly its just another uninformed group that is hitting coon hunting and running of dogs pretty hard they need to be informed that we are good ppl with sportsmanship and conservation in mind we are our own worst enemy in all this everyone needs to get on the same page so we can keep moving forward not dig ourselfs in a deeper hole

Sadly im on the other opinion of you guys....
This is coonhunting animals fight other animals there is blood and gore....ya know what? If my pup split trees for the first time and it takes several shots so be it im proud of that hound im gonna take pictures im gonna post them and i really dont care who it offends because they think an animal is as precious as a human....society needs to get a back bone folks its hunting its death its the circle of life its a tradition but most importantly ITS MY RIGHT BOUGHT WITH HUMAN BLOOD and i dare someone to stop me.

if you you feel you have to hide or you are ashamed of what you are doing you probably don't need to be doing it and should be out shooting pool , hunting of any kind is what it is and there is no catch and release as in fishing all though a lot of fish die and i never see them protest them , you have to stand your grounds with these groups or they will walk right through you and yours and to sum it up in a nut shell if they ever did stop all hunting they would just find something else to harp on and try and stop , all these groups are like the bully in school that tried to push everyone around and picked out the week and then bullied them all their life and if you look most of these groups are and are funded by movie stars and that is where they get their power and we the people was who made them who they are and we the people can take it away from them if we stop funding them and making them famous at the box office and in life , all hunters need to man up or you will be the vegan they want you to be and the way i see it what you post or don't post has little to do with it because in the past they photo shopped pictures to look the way they wanted them to look ..

I see nothing wrong with guys showing coon on a tailgate with their hound{s}!

Nothing different than guys showing pics of dead Deer in back of a truck with a bullet/arrow hole.

The other bs can stop.

Dont make a dern to me what you post. I aint ur deddy. Im not out to tell you what to do. I actually think its a crock of crap to bow down to these animal rights groups. Stick together like they do and fight em. Im gonna post pics of dead stuff. Its what I do. I hunt. I kill stuff. It want be pictures of dead stuff that ends hunting. It will be no guns and loss of places to hunt at.

Its just this simple.....if hound hunting gets outlawed i will be an outlaw im not going to walk on eggshells to keep from offending folks....you say you were in the service THANK YOU!!!!! Your risk you made is to great to me not to enjoy all of my freedoms. If folks dont like seeing dead animals its as simple as a click to not see it anymore....and really picture of a dog with a right up? Lets get real. What is this country coming to and when is someone else going to get the same philosophy as me.

im not trying to start anything with anyone and there has been nothing that has been said that im just outraged by in fact everything you guys have posted has been right in many ways. now there is no way im asking anyone to bow down what im getting at is to stand up. i know there are poeople out there that feel this has nothing to do with them and that there is nothing to be done. in fact if you are reading this it does have to do with you do i think these groups have what it takes to stop hunting maybe maybe not. the fact is they do have many people with lots of fame and money supporting them and what do alot of people in this country look up too ding ding ding the wonderfull people they see on tv. then after watching there favorite movie with those people in it they see a comercial with them talking about this org. that they really know nothing about and jump on board. we as houndsmen and hunters need to jump on board togeather. i really dont see anything wrong with pictures if they are in the right contexts. with that being said some of these org. have even went to the lowness of using pictures with kids in them with hounds and coons such as the tailgate pics then they bash those kids on there website. what if those were your kids and people all across this country were calling them hillbilly trash. that is wrong on so many levels. the way the world and this wonderfull internet that we all enjoy works is once its out there it can go anywhere. what was once a photo in a box under the dresser is now out there for the whole world to see and possibly use. i have many pictures of my hounds and the tailgate pics and all that deer pictures ............. but in the sum of things i understand that people will do what ever they want to do they have that right. but the org. that i belong to dont have the money or the man power to buy out someones thoughts and ideas such as org. like peta and hsus we need to have our own leg to stand on org. like national hound and tree dog associaton state org. for hunting with hounds and many more to include breed associations are what we need to be a part of we are only as strong as what we are up against we need those kinds of numbers that the people on the other side of the fence have.

not sure im tracking where your going with that mr taylor? are your saying im trying to scam for money? im not trying to scam anyone for money do you belong to any coon hunting org. and im not saying that coon hunting org. donts have any funds but the fact of the matter is they dont have as much or the numbers of members as the people that are trying to stop hunting or shut down public lands and so much more

yes i am a member of many org. but that was not the reason for all this do i think it would be helpfull if more people got on board yes but my sole reasoning was to hopefully open some eyes. as to what we are doing to ourselfs by feeding into the anti hunting org. with bashing post on websites, pictures, and videos. its happening right now as we speak. i understand that it doesnt take much to upset a hunter or outdoorsman when someone puts down there way of life and wants it stoped but there are better ways to push back. im in the military im all about tactfully beating the opposing force. you dont give your enemy a truckload of guns to supply them to take you down right. its the same concept here. we as houndsmen need to see what we are doing to ourselfs by feeding the fire if anyone wants the truth and your computer savy look on facebook and anti hunting org. there pages are full of comments from hunters cussing posting videos pictures and so much more. now if you do this you will notice that the people that run these kinds of pages and websites leave those comments up there for a reason. there reasoning as far as ive gathered is to compleately make us the hunters look like the bad guys for all the world to see. now if you look at those pages and look closely they will delete every single tactfull post that is put up. like i said they do that for a reason to make us look terrible to the general public. that is why i posted this our world is ever so changing and its only going to get worse we need to figure out how to make it better as a whole

i get what you are saying all though when you post a thread the way you did in the hope to get members , ( you burned the house down and then told how it caught on fire ) i can not speak for everyone all though if i wanted people to join i would have stated you was a group called coon hunting org. that is helping coon hunters to keep their right to coon hunt by standing up to the anti's etc , i know i would join a group quicker that way than the other , who is the owner of coon hunting org. ?

im still not posting this to get members I wasn't trying to burn the house down or anything. im simply stating that there are multiple organizations that help with what im talking about. im not talking about one organization in general im talking about us hurting ourselves with what we say and do im not trying to push you or anyone to join an organization. I know that most people will probably not jump and join an organization mainly because they don't feel that its there issue. and they wont feel that its there issue until it falls on there doorstep. the reason I brought up the organizations talk was because of the antis trying to stop what we do. will those org stand up for us yes do I expect you to join by me posting this no that is your own choice. the simple fact of the matter is and why I even brought up the organizations is if we continue to not stand on the same page and hold each other accountable for what we say and do those organizations will not have a leg to stand on. say your the president of a state hound hunting organization and you are fighting a bill that is trying to pass and the people who are trying to pass it see a post on the internet in that state doing the action that they are trying to stop in a way that is unsatisfactory like a dog fighting a bear or whatever there is there prof. then you have no leg to stand on.
