Anyone ever use one? What brand/type do you have and do they work? Thanks.

So every dog you have ever had that barked in the kennel you just shot it? I think not.

I have one I have used. They work the first few days. One of the things about it if one dog barks all the dogs get the noise they can't stand or whatever it is.After a week or so the dogs learn it don't hurt that much and will bark though it and wear the batteries out. Petsafe Outdoor Bark Control Birdhouse is the kind I used.A no bark collar turned up all the way works much better in my opinion.Though I did have a beagle that could bark though a dog trac 500 turned all the way up to number 7 which is as high as it goes.He would bark once shake his head at the pain then start barking like it wasn't even on him.He don't bark no more though.

I have a bark collar for my dog and they do work. He doesn't bark a whole lot anyway but I hate to leave it on them all the time because it wears on their neck. My neighbors dog is the one that is wearing me out right now. It barks all the time. Just looking for something that will cure both problems at once.

i have never seen them help and most dogs will over power them to the point they don't work ..
i saw a fellow break his neighbors dogs from barking with a air horn every time they barked he would hit the horn and in no time you never heard them bark any more , or just buy the neighbors a good bark collar ..

I have the pet safe bird house. It was great the first couple weeks then the pups realized they could bark through it. So,back to bark collars. For the old dogs a twice a year shotgun pelleting keeps things quiet.
