Trump vs. Fox News

2016 Presidential Candidates.

I find this very interesting.

Republican Side:
Trump has been attacked by Fox News and the Republican establishment (they want an establishment candidate-Bush their preference). Now, he won't participate in their debate. I respect Trump's decision. Donald is not a Republican.

Kudo to Trump = He has not accepted PAC money.

Democratic Side:
Bernie Sanders is being hammered by MSNBC and the Democratic establishment (they want their establishment candidate-Hillary). Bernie is not a democrat.

Kudo to Sanders = He has not accepted PAC money.

Wouldn't it be interesting if we can get two candidates not tied to (political parties/cult-like followers) in the presidential race? Yes, if you're a party loyalist I did just call you a cult-follower (not leader...follower)!!!

I would love to see these two in the face-off/election.

Just throwing this out there. Neither party represents working people. Dems: Hillary is just as tied in to Wall Street as the Republicans. Reps: Establishment candidates are the same as Hillary, except they put an (R) after their name. The establishment candidates (with PACs) are usually bought and paid for by the same influential people.

I'm for Bernie vs. Donald (party cultists will surely disagree).

I see you logic about Trump and Sanders going against the grain, but what ever happened to picking the person that will do the best for the country?

Neither Trump nor Sanders are rooted in Christian Values that I believe should be the measure of a good candidate.

Values Wise: I actually agree with what you said. But, the only president in my lifetime (JFK to present) that I would characterize as having strong Christian values was Jimmy Carter, and he wasn't effective.

Do know that professing values and actually having them are two different things. Without first-hand knowledge, we just don't know. Jesus had strong values. He was crucified by the establishment and their followers.

I think that NOT TAKING PAC MONEY does show some sense of value. Both of these men have turned it down!!!

Religion? Trump = Presbyterian. Sanders = Jewish. Lost family members in holocaust.

If both of these guys make it through, I have a tough decision. If one makes it through, I have an easy decision. If neither makes it, I'm back to choosing the lesser of two evils.

Worst case scenario (for me) = Hillary vs. Rubio.

Islamic comment (politically incorrect). Extremist or not. Name any other religion in the world that has terror networks and has a mission to kill people. Compared to Islamic jihadists, the KKK would be considered as a pacifist group!!!

I agree with you that Islam is where Terror and Caliphate ideas began. Yeah there are some peaceful Muslims, but surely they need to police their own ranks.

But I do not understand your comment of having a hard decision between Trump and Sanders. Even though Trump is not my 1st choice, he's way better than Sanders. Sanders is a socialist by his own admission. Do you know what that word means? His ideas would destroy this country. Companies would flood overseas to escape his socialist rules and taxation. Did you not hear him say he would raise taxes as much at 60 -90% of income? Wow, you really need to rethink Sanders.. Even the Hildibeast would be better than him and she's a disaster.

As an adult, Sanders drifted away from Jewish customs. And as his bid for the White House gains momentum, he has the chance to make history. Not just as the first Jewish president — but as one of the few modern presidents to present himself as not religious.

“I am not actively involved with organized religion,” Sanders said in a recent interview.

Sanders said he believes in God, though not necessarily in a traditional manner.

Sounds to me he quit the Jewish religion many years ago.
You figure what he means by he doesn't believe in God in a traditional manner.

Bernie Sanders
Voted NO on establishing nationwide AMBER alert system for missing kids.
Vote to adopt the conference report on the bill that would assign a national coordinator for AMBER alerts. AMBER alerts is an alert system for missing children, make available additional protections for children and set stricter punishments for sex offenders. Two-time child sex offenders would be subjected to mandatory life sentence. The measure would make it a crime to pander visual illustrations of children as child pornography. It would increase maximum sentences for a number of specified crimes against children. It would also make it a crime to take a trip to foreign countries and engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor. It also would enlarge law enforcement's wiretap and electronic surveillance abilities in investigations of child pornography.
Reference: Child Abduction Prevention Act; Bill S 151 ; vote number 2003-127 on Apr 10, 2003

Voted NO on reducing Marriage Tax by $399B over 10 years.
Vote to pass a bill that would reduce taxes for married people by $399.2 billion over 10 years by doubling the couples' deduction and the child tax credit. Among other provisions, the bill would allow married couples filing jointly to claim a standard deduction equal to the deduction they would receive filing singly.

•Voted YES on eliminating the "Y" nonimmigrant guestworker program. (May 2007)
•Voted NO on building a fence along the Mexican border. (Sep 2006)
•Voted YES on preventing tipping off Mexicans about Minuteman Project. (Jun 2006)
•Voted NO on reporting illegal aliens who receive hospital treatment. (May 2004)
•Voted NO on more immigrant visas for skilled workers. (Sep 1998)
•Rated 0% by FAIR, indicating a voting record loosening immigration. (Dec 2003)

I don't know what's meant by the comments you've attributed to him. But, I can certainly relate.

Believes in God = Good. Traditional Manner = Not sure what that means. I often work Sundays... does that mean I don't believe in God in a traditional manner (because I don't get to attend our church regularly???). I believe that we respect God by our conduct 24/7 7 days a week.

I want someone that will represent the American people.

I'm researching. Bernie is looking good to me. But, I still don't know if he can beat the Democratic establishment (he's certainly not the choice of the Democratic party/cult, just as Trump is not the choice of the Republican party/cult.

Forget partys/cults. Be independent. Vote for America!!!

Sanders??

I hate to even respond to this somewhat debate over Sanders being a good choice. The only reason he is allowed to be involved and continue is he was supposed to make Hillary, the liar, look more center. By comments on here and "poll" numbers, it appears that plan is backfiring on them. I ask myself how this great country got in the situation it's in.... Well, I guess it is no surprise when people actually consider voting for a socialist that would tax and destroy the "working man".

SOCIALISM DEFINED:

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama’s socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich; a great equalizer.

The professor then said, “OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama’s plan”. All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A (substituting grades for dollars – something closer to home and more readily understood by all).

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.

As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.

The second test average was a D! No one was happy.

When the third test rolled around, the average was an F.

As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

To their great surprise, all failed and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.

It could not be any simpler than that.

There are five morals to this story:

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

I’ll make one final point. There are five morals to the story, but there are dozens of nations giving us real-world examples every day.

Sort of makes you wonder why some people still believe this nonsense

Sanders is the presidential contender most willing to dissociate himself from religion. Though he identifies as Jewish and by Jewish law is Jewish, he has freely acknowledged that he is not a religious person. He scored a solid zero from Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom Coalition in its most recent scorecard and a 100 from the abortion rights group NARAL Pro-Choice America

Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom Coalition

We believe that the greatness of America lies not in the federal government but in the character of our people — the simple virtues of faith, hard work, marriage, family, personal responsibility, and helping the least among us. If we lose sight of these values, America will cease to be great.

Never before has it been more critical for us to speak out for these values. That is why the Faith and Freedom Coalition is committed to educating, equipping, and mobilizing people of faith and like-minded individuals to be effective citizens. Together we will influence public policy and enact legislation that strengthens families, promotes time-honored values, protects the dignity of life and marriage, lowers the tax burden on small business and families, and requires government to tighten its belt and live within its means.

•Respect for the sanctity and dignity of life, family, and marriage as the foundations of a free society
•Limited government, lower taxes and fiscal responsibility to unleash the creative energy of entrepreneurs
•Education reform that puts children first
•Help the poor, the needy, and those who have been left behind
•Free markets and free minds to create opportunity for all
•Victory in the struggle with terrorism and tyranny while supporting our democratic allies, including Israel

Sounds to me like this may be a religious group who rated Bernie Sanders a big ZERO in his religious views.
