Ficken's Deepwoods Rocky

I would really like to see a list of his titled offspring and females they are from.
I'm just trying to do a little homework.
I also need to know who owns him now.

I hunted with Rocky one night and he looked real nice. I have also hunted with two of the pups out of the Rocky X Chick cross and I really liked them, big good looking dogs with big beautiful mouths and would get treed quick.

Thanks Richard

You seen Ginger go a couple times. Chick and Ginger are fairly close relatives.
I can use just the list of females those titled offspring are from.

Chick and Ginger are close offspring but not very much alike in the woods.

Joe Lewis hunted several off of the Rocky X Bemby cross. Rex had one also. There were several nice ones off of the Rocky X Dot cross. You might call Bill Feldman to help with your "homework".

I hunted with the GRNT Roxie dog of Bill Feldman's when she was a year old. REALLY liked her. Have a male off Rocky x Chick right now I like too. They Roxie & Coupe are very similar. Quick to strike. Big mouths. Action packed. Nice tree dogs. He has a lot to offer the breed

BIG MOUTH

That big LOUD mouth is what I am shooting for. The Deuce X Musicmaker cross has produced that big LOUD mouth in some of those pups. I am thinking that mouth is coming from the Musicmaker side of that cross. Deuce puts a good voice on um. But a few of the Deuce X Musicmaker pups are super loud and pack the rest of the goods as well.

Sometimes, it is hard to tell just exactly where that big booming mouth comes from. I have gotten to hunt with Randy's Rocky X Chick pup and I got to hunt with Chad's Rocky X Chick pup Sun night. Oh my goodness, do they both sound good. But they sound just like Moose and a lot like Gr Nt Farr's Ramblin Red Lil Zack to me. So maybe Sally/Lil Zack is where it came from. But then Rocky, Moose and Deuce are all out of Rabble and Chick is also out of Haze who has a beautiful mouth himself. This also makes her a grandpup of Rabble. So maybe Rabble is where it comes from. In truth it probably is a combination of all of them. I know that it sure is nice to hear any of them work a cold track and then come treed. And to a lot of Old Timers, that is what coonhunting is all about.

Don, whatever happened to Ginger? Do you still have her? Did you ever get her bred to Rocky?

I have hunted with Randy and Rocky several times. He has never failed to get struck with a big bawl mouth...move his tracks fast and get treed with a really impressive locate that he flips over to a hard loud chop. Randy has always shown respect and graciousness towards everyone in the cast each time I have hunted with him. Rocky has been on my list of T Top studs to work into our line to try to add the type of mouth these dogs throw. Bill Feldman Bred Gr.Nt.Ch. Roxie who is out of Rocky x Daisy to Our Moonlight Outlaw Mac dog and she had 8 pups and I will be getting a female pup from this cross to be one of my next projects. I think the T Top dogs cross well on a wide variety of other lines and usually pass on that type of mouth most of them are known for. I would recommend Rocky to anyone looking for a quality stud who is a proven winner and reproducer of winners.

Is he still breeding Rocky? Is Rocky even still alive? I saw where he disappeared from the Current Reproducers List. Don't they do that when a dog dies? Don, you may have waited too late.

Rocky is still alive & well. I should have a litter of pups out of him in a couple weeks out of Dual GR Feldmans Branch River Tammy. Tammy is out of Rage & Ruby. Richard do you think they will have decent mouths & tree?
