Fun Times With Friends and Hounds

Had a great week of hunting in Ohio and Indiana. Started off last Friday night hunting with Jerry Debolt and Damon Shivers. Then we moved on over to Indiana and Jerry, his son Eric and I hunted with Hoosier and his sons Chase and Chandler. Treed a few coons, saw lots more sitting up and had lots of laughs and made lots of good memories.

We killed 5 coon in Ohio and 20 and a Chevy bumper in Indiana..

Thanks to Damon for taking me to his river bottom hunting, Damon you can KEEP the park hunting for yourself NEXT time I stop by to hunt.

Thanks to Hoosier for taking Jerry, Eric and myself once again. It was a blast as always. Already looking forward to next years trip. Hawkeye Eric says he will be there with us again.

No, Pride was in Ohio at Mike Blackburn's. I did swing by Mike's on the ride home and pick Pride up and brought him back home.

Melson's Big Game kennels. home to some decent English dogs ,one leopard and 2 red dogs who are nice dogs to . We hunt bear and coon also a few bobcats and a few grey fox . I am not color blind.

Thanks, they are all off of Pride. Moon, Ice and Brute are off of Pride and Ruby, three different litters, Hoss and HoneyBee are off of Pride and Mary.

All these pictures were taken with a Canon Rebel XT.

I can't wait for ya'll to come back next year!

I will try and do better on having clean paths next year and a few more places where we can drive back to. I can't guarantee that the deer here won't chase your dogs but I wish that one was on my wall so you didn't have to worry.

Ice looks great in that picture even if she didn't have a bath that week!

Wish I had gotten a picture of that buck chasing the dogs. LOL

No wonder dogs chase deer.....

Just sayin...

Hope you do get those paths cleared up, it was hard walking over all that down stuff, not to mention all those weeds in some of the paths.

I know you were having a hard time, I mean you only had to put your boots on once. LOL

You better be careful or I won't take you back to the Christmas light house and covered bridge.....or is THAT referred to now as your new honey hole? I am going to try and thin them a little before next year.

I HATE wearing those boots...

You saw how many times I fell down!!! I've never fallen that many times on flat land. LOL

I would refer to it as the covered bridge place.. But with my luck Chase will build one on your place. LOL

Hopefully you don't thin them out as thin as the ones right around the corner from your house.. LOL

The problem is I didn't thin them....they just weren't there! What about your OLD honey hole? Can't even get one treed there. Did you sneak in here the first week and thin the honey holes you had marked? LOL Only places we treed them was new places to you!

I think Chase has other priorities, he won't be building any bridges back there.

I hope this snow gets outta here and this bright moon goes away........I need to get a few more out to Ice.

I only know how to get to two of your hunting spots... And one of those I WOULD NEVER GO TO WITHOUT YOU!!!!

We dropped in three woods that we always tree coon in and never treed a coon or saw one sitting up in those woods.

I guess you'll have to build him that bridge for a wedding present. LOL

Suppose to warm up later in the week isn't it?

Yes, that was weird on those 2 spots. i haven't thinned them AND I KNOW no one else did either as no one would be allowed to hunt them. Just weird.

Yes by next Thursday it's supposed to be up to 50 again.
