The dog looks to me like a black and tan x blue tick that has been crossed over on a cur or a feist you can see the short ears but he has a wide skull at the back of the jaws,you never know or can say for sure when they are crossed i have seen a whole litter that none of them looked alike, good luck with him.

Looks like either a bluetick crossed on a cur or bluetick & black & tan crossed on one.
