Uncle x niece cross......
Good talking with you today Art.
Darren how's life treating ya? All good here, life is good and I Can't complain.
Several guys have been waiting on me to make this cross. Including my self. Just had to make sure Spot was what I was looking for. The breeding is all there but had to make sure she carried the traits I was looking for. She's the right kind and we will soon find out if she reproduces what I would call world class Hounds.
Just because there isn't any of the so called flavor of the month in there, don't think these won't make coon dogs. This cross will produce way above average hounds. Maybe one or two World Class Hounds. But I'm sure they will have Super noses a lot of dogs don't have any more, track speed many have never experienced, and Loud Loud accurate hard tree dogs.
If you look back several generations you would find Finley River Chief in there over 50 times, Finley River Dan over 40 times, F. R. Dan III over 23 times, Red Eagle Dick over 4 times, F.R. Zoom over 4 times, Blue Mountian F.R. Lonnie over 5 times, F.R. Trap over 6 times and last but not least Houses Lipper and Rolling Hills Dan over 4 times.
People talk about the ones out behind the barn you never hear about or the ones everyone thought didn't exist anymore. The ones that small groups of mostly pleasure hunters are breeding for there own personal use and don't get out to the hunts much any more. Titles, Big money winners, and Top reproducers that are based solely on titles aren't the only coon dogs out there. You just have to know where to look.
Personally I don't want what everyone else has. I try to breed for what everyone wishes they did have....They suit me, my family and friends and in the end that's all that matters.
I'm very great full to all the men that have kept this line of dogs around for the rest of us to enjoy. I take no credit for this. Just glad to be a small part of a already well laid plan and a plan I do have. God Bless and Good Hunting to All.
