Snow plow blade on a 4 wheeler?????

Any of you fellas have a 4 wheeler that you tried a snow plow on???? Does it work okay???? How deep of snow, or does that matter, that it will clear???
I have a Yamaha Grizzly 4wd that I take to my cabin and would like to put a blade on it if they work alright so I don't have to pack up and get off the mountain right away when it snows. Don't want to get snowed in, but don't want to waste money on something that doesn't work very good. I have heard that a snow blade don't work too good on a 4 wheeler but then again I have heard that there are coon hounds that never ran a deer too!!!! Any information is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I have one that has done well for me. It is on a Honda. Electric winch is the only way to go. My driveway is flat and I have a lot of room on both sides of the driveway to pile the snow. The big snow we had here a few years ago was all that it wanted because the snow was wet. I was still able to push it the width of the driveway. The downside is that in the spring I usually have to pick up gravel out of the lawn, but that is a small price to pay.

Thanks for the replies fellas....What does the winch do??? Is that to move the blade up and down so you can adjust the depth of cut???? It don't angle or tilt the blade does it???? I am guessing that it's a convenience thing so you can do the adjustments while you are driving???

Yes,the winch is to raise and lower the blade,,put a blade on a 4x4 and you'll love it,,best thing I've ever used to remove snow
