World semi finals hunting or no hunting judges?

I would like to hear some opinions on this subject. I did not hunt in the world hunt or have a dog in the hunt. Just heard a lot of pros and cons either way. I do know why they have hunting judjes. Not enough non hunting judges to go around. If you feel there should be non hunting judges., what would be your solution.

There are very few newbies or inexperienced handlers at that level. That being the case, not a dimes worth of difference between hunting and non-hunting judges.

With that being said. Why non hunting judges in the finals?

I usually agree with you on most subjects, but not this one. The difference is seeing the coon. I know several including myself that have seen their dog split with a visible coon that the rest of the cast claims not to see simply because they know it will put them out-it's ashame people would be like that, but some sure enough will!

Mike

2005 was the last year they had non hunting judges at the zones and I love when they did it that way. You still might get a judge that don't know the rules the best but me a good set of honest eyes to score coons and I'll chance the bad with it. But I understand why they have hunting judges and it works too.

Just wanted to reiterate about having hunting judge in the semifinals. According to the play by play, look at what was said about a couple of the handlers questioning the call on the slick tree decision of the judge. How do think that would have been scored using hunting judges?????. Or better yet how would of they scored the off game tree?????.
