I love you buddy, prayers and thoughts for you, I talked to Tim on the phone about 7:30, my friend sounded weak and in pain, Tim has been a mentor for me and elevated the type hounds that eat my feed, but most of all he has been an example of what a friend should be, As a Vietnam vet. He has displayed the heart of a true American warrior, Tim is not laying down and giving up though, He told me this afternoon that he was not giving up, that he plans on going home Monday, he told me to call him at the house next week, So don't be surprised to see Tim Vaughn on here from his home computer, love you Tim....Gerald

I am so thankful for attending the BBOA hunt held in Marshall. Was able to roost at the Bunkhouse. Great visit with Tim and others. The first time I met Tim was 1975 and he was hunting Smokey. Tim threw an ear of corn at Smokey for not getting the track gone on the frozen tundra. My first blue dog, a gyp was from Smokey X Janie. The hounds Cory & I hunt today goes back to that cross. Thank You a lot Tim & Paul. God Bless and praying for a miracle.

It's sad to hear this Tim was always a good guy and have watched him ever since I started hunting. I just hope heaven has enough blue dogs to keep up.


I'd like to ask a favor Lord when my last long trail is run_

I'd like to spend some time with you when my life down here is done

I've tripped on fences in the dark and I've waded mud and sand.

Been scratched by every briar and thorn thats known to mortal man_


I've broke through ice on frigid nights and dried by open flame,

I've been so cold and shivered so I couldn't__call my name.


I've fed old dogs that wouldn't hunt, had hounds that treed_and _lied; Had some that rather run a deer than tree a raccoon hide'
