Tires

Whats a halfway affordable a/t or m/t to put on a truck? Im talkin less than $150 a piece. Right now Im on bfg a/t ko 235/75/15. Theyre great tires but the truck sat for 2 or 3 years before I got it so theyre dry rotted and also about wore out. I cant see spendin $179.99 a piece for a new set of them though. Wantin to go to 31x10.50/15 but not trying to spend a fortune. What do yall think?

The 31/10s/15 are pretty high now days i think they are trying to phase out all the sizes under 16 inch. i like Summit tires and i think you can get a 9-50 or 10-50 for what you are wanting to spend. one thing to look at is how they price them some just price the tire and then charge you for putting them on valve stems and tire disposal etc and then some price them out the door and if you do not watch you will get a cheap price that cost you more in the end. i found this out first hand at walmart a few years ago.

My brother just put a set of Goodyear A/T's on his Toyota ,,same size as yours,,235/75/15 they seem like a real good tire,,he only gave $99.00 a tire,,he had less than $430.00 including taxes, not sure if tires were on sale or not,,but even if so,,they can't be much more than that

235-75/15

my old 98 chevy has those tires.. I use it when I go out in the Flint Hills to do a little dozer work.
those hard old flint rocks will surely cut cheap tires to pieces.
I do not like to buy foreign stuff-- But , I talked to the Late Mel Reed about what would stand up.
he said that Yokohama's were about as good as there was for those conditions.

Plus you cannot get any tires past load range D..
yes they are standing the test after 2 years
and I have hauled over a ton of gravel on that pickup across our "gravel" roads (read that river rock- mostly flint rock) LOL

Firestone Destination MT's

Idk how much they run in your neck of the woods but....they are a AWESOME tire, I can go in to a field after a heavy rain and putt around in 2wd they are quiet on the road and I get good tread life. These are the only tires I will put on my truck,
