Dog food

I know this has probably been asked 100 times, but I could not find it by searching. What type of dog food is everyone feeding? I am currently feeding sport mix, and I don't like it so I am looking for something good to switch too. Thanks in advance.

I have fed Pride, Diamont naturals, Victor, and High Standard.

Pride is by far the cheapest and my dogs have always done as good on it then any other feed I listed.

Purina Pro Plan

If you don't have a bunch of dogs you can't beat Pro Plan. I've tried about everything...diamond, sport mix, sportsmans pride, 4health, Victor, etc. Pro plan beats them all. My dog is muscled up and doesn't look poor after being ran all night long. It's not cheap, but go to chewy.com and you'll get about $15 off.
If you got a bunch of dogs then good luck finding a good food that's reasonable for a lot of dogs. My buddies feed pride, but say their dogs do about as good on plain ol purina dog chow.

$23.25/50lb for the 26/18 but that's from a distributor I think the mark up is $3 or $4 in the stores.

I'm feeding Taste of the Wild to 3 dogs. Tried Diamond but had problems with all 3. Tried purina and had problems with 2. Taste of the wild is working but I'll probably switch to a higher protein formula. Right now using the salmon one. It is pricey though.

I fed blue buffalo for about 6 months. Switched back to Diamond Naturals chicken and rice, and noticed zero difference

Has anyone used sport mix wholesomes? It seems good, and doesn't have any corn in it. It is also only 30 a bag for 40 pounds. If anyone has any experience with it please let me know.

Red flannel 26-18 is what i use, pricey but it has been working for me. I was using purina dog chow but switched 2 months ago because my dogs were looking pretty bad. Been hunting there tails off until we started getting all this **** rain.

Black Gold Performance Blend, dogs look great with slick haircoats. Very little waste and the dogs don't overheat in this desert.
Adios,
Gary

Had a board member recommend River Run by Nutrena

in the past I fed Purina One, Purina Pro Plan and all of the Diamond products

Dogs look great, no stool issues,

I get it at a local feed store for $30 per 50lbs.
Very happy with this food

Sportmix wholesome chicken and rice. Used it for two years now dogs look great. Small stools twice a day. For the money and no corn I like it.
