Me and my buddy are lookin at a Plott we dont know much about them or their lines. He are some of the doss in the pedigree.

I've hunted a couple from pocahontas blood and one from timber ridge blood .they were ok dogs . They're way back as you listed the pedigree. Could be that you're asking about a bunch of water champions and show champions bred in California that nobody knows and the rest of the country thinks are garbage. It's not the breed.
You might have a good bred dog also try posting in plott section or big game section

Unless you're planning on breeding plotts why does it matter what someone you don't know has to say about the dogs in that pedigree . Try the dog and let it speak for itself

after looking over ped the dog is bred real good.alot of bear dog stuff in there but also coon dog bred.ive had plots since 1970 and have had a lot of that blood.

I know Dan Tichenor of the Osage dog and I know Irv Corbin of Rebel pride dogs. They are both stand up guy's and great hounds men. Both have been involved in Chc for years and write regular articles in full cry ect.
DAN AND IRV have used their plotts to catch a lot of lion's for the university in California . Probably can't go wrong with one of these dogs. But I like starting my own puppies.
