Question about DNA

They come with 3 swabs. Does someone know if you have to use all 3 swabs? Or do they just send you extra just in case you mess up?

Not trying to sound like a smart a## but does it come with instructions ? I've never done one for ukc only pkc. On the pkc one you only use one swab and there are instructions on the envelope that the swab is in .

Yes, it came with instructions but it just said to swab and send back. Just wondering why it had 3 swabs in it. It did not mention anything about number of swabs to send back or anything.

Looks like a new DNA company.

Yes, do all three and try not to rub all three swabs in the same area. You are picking up loose cheek cells on the swab. They want to make sure that you submit enough to get a good clean profile. If you rub all three on the exact same spot the first swab will have the most, the next two wont pick up much.

I always heard that you use 1 inside each cheek and the third on the other end to check for any possum or armadillo residue in their system.

Or, instead of being registered as a "PR" bred dog, they would be reregistered as a " PA " bred
