Black and Tan sectional- Steuben county coonhunters

I know this hunt is a ways out October 24th and in Cameron New York, but I would like to try and gain as much interest as possible to try and push for some better number of dos entered in hunt and more competition and most importantly to keep these hunts going because poor turnouts ends up making the club not want to go through the hassle of putting on these hunts , there is several places for hotels and what not if people were to come from hours away and there is some really nice hunting spots in the area to get in some high scoring casts , would like to see a real nice turn out this year to keep these things going,

Thanks,
Matt Clark

Matt,

Where is Cameron, NY? In Stueben County? If so what are the roads to get there from a main highway?

Dave

It's just south of hornell dave , I'm not sure of the road that goes into Cameron and yes it's Steuben county it's the new spot for the club that used to be in elkland, yes we have some porkies I've never had a problem with my dogs with them occasionally a young dog might run into one in the corn but very rarely just very lucky I guess on them lol

We have really nice hard woods around here and hilly with lots of farm land and little creeks coon paradise you could say especially with bumper crop of acorns last couple years , I had a cast I won I guided no feeders either this year with 675 plus and this was in April so I wouldn't be surprised of got a cast with a 1,000 plus to come in that night , 86 is closest highway you get off in hornell and take 36 south to Canisteo than to Cameron there will be signs
