Mr Jonathon Christmas of Lewisburg, Ky passed away last night. He was crossing a swollen creek to get his dog and didn't make it. He leaves behind a wife and a fine little baby girl. He had just made his dog a ntch and was tickled to death. He served our country in the military. He was a tough hunter,one of the best sports you could be around, and was an example to others on how to conduct ourselves.

Please keep him and your family in your prayers during this difficult time for them.

Jonathan was a true friend to everyone. Loved his redbones. My heart breaks for his family and his friends. Hunt on Jonathan.

What a terrible tragedy. Everyone please remember this when your dog gets across some bad water. I know a couple people who have died this way. Please go around or find another place to cross. It don't matter how good that dog is it's not worth risking your life .

Jonathan was recovered around 4:55 PM this afternoon. The outpouring of the community has been overwhelming.

Very sorry to hear about this...prayers out to the family in this most difficult of times. I am hopeful that the local club will have a memorial hunt with the proceeds going to his daughter and wife.

Aint that the way it always works...a young veteran with a family that everyone likes and calls a sportsman has to go way too soon...but a lying, cheating, no good dog jockey that will cheat anyone out of a dollar or a nite hunt will live to be 150, have 20 kids and raise all of them to act just like him.
