Snake bit

I have a small 6 month old female that I think got snake bit. Sent her in the woods. She came back with a bad limp and wouldnt walk on her back leg got her home and started to swell it's pretty big now. I just have her in the box as of now. Just wondering what I can do to help her out? If anything at all.

If she got snake bit, you should be able to see some fang marks.

2 50mg tablets of benadryl initially and then 1 every 12 hours until you can get to the vet. Always remove the collar. I think there's some older threads on here for snake bites.

A Lot of Hunters

Use Benadryl (tablet or liquid). We use Liquid. Also Penicilin. I have used Spirit of Turpentine on Wasp Bites for Swelling. That could help also. Found at Dollar Stores.
