Hey Todd, just a couple of quick questions. My dog's paper say something like "Litter Nominated Only For Performance Program". Don't have the papers here at work with me. Does that mean my pup is not paid up individually, but was eligible to be paid up? And, if I read correctly, he can't be paid up after 12 months? He was purchased after 12 months of age and I would pay him up if he's not and I was allowed to.
One other dead horse. Why do fees go up after a certain age? Is it that much more work for UKC as the dog gets older? Not mad, but curious.
Thanks for what you guys do, Harry
You are correct in that Litter Only means not individually, permanently paid up. Also correct that dogs can't be paid up after 1 year. Perfect example of a case where the breeder should have taken advantage of the nominate the whole litter option.
The reason for the price increase as they get older has nothing to do with extra work. It's risk vs. reward. Less risk element if you were allowed to wait to see if it made a coondog before you nominate them.
