How many people on here would like to see it legal to run bears with dogs in Pa my 11 month old pup and my old male dog put one up a couple months ago one of the most exciting trees I ever went to I might lose my job and a wife if they did but man it would be fun

I absolutely would love to see that happen, what i would really like to see happen is make bear season in pa only with dogs and put some kind of restriction on size age etc... Everyone in my area brags about the 35lb bear they shot, if its black its gettin shot no matter what

ya'll go for it and start a coalition to get it done !! my baby brother moved up thar years ago and I will come up and hunt .

my daughter moved to California and I had planned on going bear hunting oops I mean out to visit her and then they outlawed it .

There used to be an age restriction. One reason for it being lifted is If you shoot the sow and leave the cub the cub really isn't going to make it anyhow. I'm not gunning for a cub but as far as bear population goes it actually would be better if the cub was taken and the sow lived.

Gotta weigh 75lb here before we can kill it. We cant kill them in north ga with dogs. We have a training season for dogs on bear but no kill season. Once again the gov idiots in charge.

agree

I agree one hundred percent with there being a size restriction ive seen alot of cubs people say you cant tell the size of the bear while hunting but ive seen my share of bear in the woods and I can tell a adult from a cub

Even better if adult boars are the only ones harvested, houndsmen know how to control a population and thats why the black bear population in my area is horrible because it isnt controlled by conservative sportsmen
