Peanuts in a coonfeeder

Any body use peanuts in feeder, would they work soured like corn?

I put peanuts in mine...when I turned lose on it a few nights later my pup treed a elephant..JK...lol....should work I knw coons like peanut butter...

lol yeah the cheap part ! I like peanuts myself and couldn't see using them for coon due to the price .

Sometimes you can buy em cheap in bulk here in Ga. We grow a lot of peanuts here in south Ga. Problem is getting them hauled.

They work really good here in the cooler months. Only problem is when it warms up they will go through a heat and mold up pretty bad.

I got a hold of a few 25 pound bags I was wondering if I should sour them or not, I guess sense they mold quick I'll try to feed them dry.
