Is training with a live coon out of kill season allowed in pennsylvania? I'm planning in doing it but just curiouse if y'all knew or not? Thanks Tom

think it atleast has to be within trapping season if I had to guess, and not endangering the coon.

then within training season

just don't get caught and run em lol

totally illegal to possess a live racoon in Pa. unless you have a license/ permit, not sure what the name it is called anymore, The racoon has to come from a licensed dealer and can't come from the wild.

Toally not allowed you can hunt them just not trap to train but how doy they know you dont have a nuisance Coon that your relocating

Don't get caught. Don't post videos of it. If you do do as quietly as possible. Do not draw attention to yourself. I have heard of at least one person who lost their liscense for a year.

SAME WAY HERE IN MARYLAND. BUT ABOUT RELOCATING HERE. WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DO THAT. I TALKED WITH AND EXTERMINIST, HE HAD FOUR COON HE CAUGHT IN TOWN. HAD TO TAKE THEM AND KILL THEM NOT ALLOWED TO TURN THEM LOOSE. I WANTED HIM TO GIVE THEM TO ME. HE WOULD NOT. SAME THING WITH SKUNKS AND POSSUMS. REALLY SUX.!!!!!!! BUT KEEP IT QUIET AND TRAIN AWAY JUST LIKE SAID IN A PRIOR POST DO NOT HAVE PICS OF COON IN VIDEO OR PICS. I GUY HERE IN MD POSTED COON IN ROLL CAGE WITH PUPS. THEY CAME TO HIS HOUSE. NOT SURE THE OUTCOME. WITH DNR HERE IT IS NOT GOOD.

Just use feeders, you can pretty much dump a pup on a red hot track most nights.

You also can't use your truck or an atv to pursue your hounds. However I can tell you there are some hills Im not walking up.
