11 month old male walker

He will bark at a cage coon hates em at 6 months old he opened on track alittle and treed with my old male till I got there then stopped he goes every step with my female and my buddies blue dog and is at every tree they have the coon he wont bark up or on track turned out a box coon to him hell follow the track stand on the tree look up but wont say nothing might wimmper alittle same when he hunts with the old dogs never hung a coon up the tree in a cage or nothing like that not sure if its a good thing to let him see the coon his sister started running and treeing at 7 months old on box coon and with my female never showed her a coon up the tree she did it with sent these are my first 2 pups ive ever trained from the start my buddie passed away 2 years ago and these pups are out of his male and female he tought me everything I know about coon hunting but when we started hunting together the pups he was working with were already started so im just look for alittle help any would be much appreciated thanks in advance

Try tying him back and knock a few out to the other dogs. Don't let him have one until he starts barking on tree. there's a good chance just watching the other dogs wool one and never getting it himself will fire him up and get the barking started.
