To the best of my knowledge the sire had to be paid up as a super stake sire before breeding took place.
I don't think you can do it now.

EDIT; Oh wait never mind. I'm confused I was thinking UKC performance. I just realized you said SS

You can SS a pup without the sire being paid up in super stakes as a SS sire. You can do it through the dam for $200 as long as her DNA is filed and she's SS eligible or certified. I just did it not too long ago

Yes you can.....u ss the litter for $200. I just did it ,the sire was not a ss sire. Go on other kc board. Youll get correct info plus they will delete this one as soon as they see it.

You can nominate a hole litter for $200. You can't do it for one pup.
I had a 10 month old pup that was as good as anything around put wasn't nominated as a pup. I called PKC and asked if I could pay him up. They said no because it would take away from the program.

So breeders make sure you pay the nomination fees for all your litters.

right !....Your $200 pays the whole litter to be ss...best way to go about it would be find another guy or 2 to split the fees with.

Pretty sure the sire and dam have to have DNA on record and/or be $KC reg. with $KC in order to nominate a litter. Pretty sure you have to do it before the pups are 6 months old, too.
