Coming Together!
I recently witnessed two coonhunters clubs, find a way to not only NOT compete with one another, but actually work together for a common goal. It was something simple, but something we probably need to do more of!
The Stoney Creek Coon Club and the Piedmont Coon Club, both of North Carolina, have a hunt this weekend. Stoney Creek on Friday, Piedmont on Saturday. They decided to both pitch in, to buy a $100 gift card, to supplement their prizes for this weekend. You have to hunt both club's hunt to be eligible to win, and the prize will be given out on Saturday.
Something relatively simple, low cost, but nice for the winner, and an incentive to attend both hunts.
That's nice to see!
