What's Some of the things youve found

Have y'all found some neat stuff out coonhunting? I've found several big buck antllers. Old black and white television set. Uncle of mine found a meteorite once.

I've found a few old rifles leaning up against trees. Two of them were mine.

I haven't officially lost one but I've had to go back lookin a couple times. The old gun wasn't so bad it had yellow tape on it but I got one of those new rascals with a green synthetic stock. That's a real b**ch looking for a 2ft long green gun when you don't know which tree you leaned it against. LOL

Was hunting one night. Dogs took up the creek as I was walking up that way I seen some lights flickering in the distance. As I got closer I could also hear people talking. From my neck of the woods I knew what it was and yelled out just following my dogs. One ole guy came down to me and explained I should walk around.I talked with him some and we knew some mutual people said our good byes and walked on through. Never have hunted that same spot again and never have seen another site since. Did turn out to be some pretty good stuff, lol.

They found a dead body in the state land we always hunt. Funny thing is, we had prolly walked right over her many times and could smell her but never did see her. We saw it on the news a while after that and I bout lost it cause we hunted there at least 1 night a week in that exact same spot.

22 Rifle

About 10 yrs. ago I was on a night hunt w/ Mike Eaton by Owatona, Mn. Cut dogs loose, dogs strike quick & just like that it sounds like there fighting a coon on the ground, get into dogs & coon is graveyard dead, like it's been dead for a couple of days. Plus strike points & draw line threw tree points. Cut loose again in same spot, dogs open quick & drive track hard & fast down the tree line about a quarter mile & come treed on last tree before gravel road. Go into tree to tie my dog up & there's a 22 rifle leaning up against that tree. Shine tree & coon is seen. Mike thinks he knows the the kid that left the gun there as the boy hunted there all the time. Charlie Radtke

I was hunting many years ago in the middle of Wayne National forest. I found what looked like the top of an urn sticking through the top of the ground in the bottom of a creek bed at the head of a hollow. I dug it out of the dirt, it was some kind of a clay/porcelain type urn looking thing. I wondered how it got in the bottom of that hollow, as I bet I was at least 1/2 to 3/4 mile from the nearest road. Kind of give me the heebie Jeebies, as I sure didn't feel right if I had just disturbed the burial site of someones loved one.

Sure was a beautiful woods, clean and big timber.

Last summer we pulled up to hunt a creek line on a gravel road in the middle of nowhere, we just hopped the fence along the ditch and there were 3 weathered looking bank bags sitting there. We picked them up and seen there were a bunch of really deteriorated receipts still in them. I told my hunting buddy we better not mess with these anymore then we have. We called the sheriff department, they met us over there the next morning. The deputy found 2 more bags and one of them still had a little over $1000 in it. Come to find out that it was from a bank about 1.5 hrs. south of us that was robbed the summer before. My buddy still gives me **** if I wouldn’t have been there he would have been $1000 richer. Lol
