Jack pups
I have owned a few. And have bred a few females to Jack. There is a thread in the " Stud" section on Jack that will give you some info. I have hunted with a bunch of pups out of Jack. Early natural starters for the most part. Good tree dogs. Have seen some very exceptional track dogs. Some of my personal experience on pups I have owned or own. Zeus(Jack x Star) split treed 3rd night ever in the woods at 6 months old. Sonic(Jack x Thunder) running and tree at very young age, started hunting him by himself at 5 months old. Bash(Jack x Penny) running and treeing with his mother at 4-1/2 months old, split treeing at 7 months old and started hunting him by himself. Dixie(Jack x Thunder) treed her 1st wild coon at 3-1/2 months old in the daytime running loose. She has a ear piercing chop on tree. Bull(Jack x Honky Tonk) didn't get to start him until late, but has only been hunted a hand full of times and is split treeing some, and seems to be a good track dog. Joe(Jack x Thunder) little later starter, very nice mouth, currently treeing coons in AL. Jack pups have placed in the PKC SS Baby stakes Final 4 two years in a row. Have also had SS Quarter finalist in the Sophomore division. Multiple SS cast wins by several different pups. Jack pups have place at Blueticks Days Young Guns Event. Placed at Battle of the Breeds, Fall-Round up, Winter Classic, RQE's. BBCHA All Blue Showdown, Oilfield $5000 semi finalist, BBCHA sectionals. To sum it up, most start early, most have good carrying mouths, most are nice accurate tree dogs. Most are thorough hunters, not straight line. Most that have been taken to town find themselves in the winner's circle. I like them. I have seen very few that I didn't. But I' m not as hard to please as some. The main thing for me is they must run and tree coon.
