Halogen Lights

I was just thinking about how far lights have came since i first started hunting...i got an old night light tracker in a trade today and im gonna put a new battery pack in it and carry it some. I bought one when they first came out and i loved it. Does anybody else still use halogen lights?

I used a 6 volt western rivers "hot light" (basically the same as the nite lite version) or a 21v bright eyes terminator up until November, then upgraded to the hotspot 3d. The old ones werent bad lights but I hated carrying all that weight, especially when I carried a spotlight and a pouch with pop covers, bullets, collar magnets, and garmin batteries too. Still have them in case I need a backup. Don't think this hotspot needs a backup though.

I still use the halogen.. I have never found a led that would dim down like I want. I don't see me changing again anytime soon.
I use a 21v blazer belt pack with a sunburst diamond head, sunburst eagle walking light assy and spotlight. my back up is a sunburst eagle III.
the first sunburst light was in the steel box and used a motorcycle type wet battery..
the eagle III uses the same batteries as blazer or any of the other companies use. I just replaced them with some from blazer.
