I typed in 2002 S-10 ring and pinion into Google and got back 73 results of new and used rear ends. That's all there is inside a rear end plus a set of bearings. Fairly EZ to change/repair. People talk like its brain surgery, but it can be done in your driveway in a few hours. Prices ranged from $150-$350. Betting if you searched alittle harder than I did you could find one close to your area. Good luck.

Do a used parts search,,it gives you many sites to look for parts,,and a lot of them ship right to your door
