Not sure how UKC will works this out but in other registries you have to get a kennel membership and that membership is important as it defines who will be responsible for profit of the dogs winnings to the IRS.
Nothing is easy anymore. Good Luck! I have the best partners in the world on a couple hounds and it still makes it interesting.
That would be a good question for Todd? If partners win a bunch of money in the some of your money hunts, who is responsible to the IRS for claiming it.
This is no longer the case Bruce.
How it is done now is there is the "Sole Signatory" and then there is everyone else who has their name(s) on the papers. The Sole Signatory is the legal owner of the dog. The others listed as co-owners have no legal ownership. At least that is how it was explained to me.
