Mike as for the Treeing Walker Breeders & Fanciers Association, you must be a member to be eligible to win the Annual Walker Days Champion. You must be a member to win High Scoring Male / Female or King and Queen of Show at any Walker Sectional throughout the year and that will qualify you for the Lee Crawford Hunt on Thursday Night of Walker Days. You have the right to vote for the dogs to be inducted in to the Hall of Fame, you receive a Newsletter and Ballot in late February or beginning of March. You have the right to Vote for the Officers and Directors at Walker Days in the annual meeting on Saturday. You also receive a Yearbook that cost about $15. per book and your membership is $20. per year. It is definitely beneficial to be a member and we would very much like for you to be a member. Keep in mind that any breed of dog can enter Walker Days and you will receive all UKC championship points that you deserve if you place in the hunt, even if you are not a member of the Association. You just can not win High Scoring Walker of the Hunt or special awards that are awarded for the Walkers by the Treeing Walker Breeders & Fanciers Association.
