Bark Collar

Does anyone leave a bark collar on their hound all the time when not hunting? If so, do you loosen it? How do you keep it from rubbing their neck raw?

I use the DT collar and it does not have to be tight, just fairly snug, to operate properly. I have never had any problems with rubbing spots on them. Also, I always use the short prongs.

Really depends on the dog. My Bluetick male I can leave it loosen some and it doesn't rub him & keeps him quite. My Walker bitch I have to take it off some or it will rub her in order to keep it tight enough to keep her quite.
