Thecalicodog

Well thank you so much for checking in on this bunch of coonhunters. Though I have no idea who you are I can assure you we true houndsmen share an unspoken bond that is seldom understood but most assuring is a life long path to inner peace.

I hope this find you in a great frame of mind as we prepare to celebrate the holiday seasons. And as you already know from being a devoted hound hunter, You will know when the time is right to pick up that ole lead strap and head back to the woods for some peace and tranquility from the rat race of this old world. And alway remember, A true houndsman is always welcome at another true hounds mans door. So when that bug you are carrying becomes overpowering to the point that you have to do something with it, this ole coon hunter would be happy to take a trip to the timber with you (when my knee is good enough to allow me) LOL, and just share a night out with a good hound, and some real roundsmen hospitality. God Bless!!!

Just for old times sake, you should hook up with a coon hunter near you that has some good hounds and enjoy hearing the chase again!!!

I know many coon hunters that are over 70 yrs old and one that is 83.... and once a coon hunter always a coon hunter! even the ones that take a few years off always end up back in the woods! Merry Christmas and God Bless!
