young female question

How deep do your hounds hunt? Iv got a year old female that's real green. Took her out tonight and she never opened or trees but she got out a out a half mile from me according to the astro and finally came back in about 2 1/2 hrs later. Just trying to figure out what she may be doing.

Many possibilities!!!! could of been in a gut pile or caught something on the ground. Was she moving alot or staying in one spot?

She appeared to be moving. The map on the astro did look like a couple Times she made a small circle. Maybe running a couple rabbits?

The tree indicator went off several times showing she was checking trees. I guess I just don't like a dog that doesn't check in in a 3 hour period.

Zac, she's just turned a year old and has only been out 3 times. My guess is she just don't know anything yet.
