English 4th gen. all grand male who's is best

I would like to know who has the best 4th gen. all grand male in the country. I would like to get answers from people that do not own one of these hounds. I think just like everyone else, I think my 2, 4th gen. all grand males are the best. Casper and Prowler are great hounds, but I am looking to see what other hunters think. So please drop me a line and tell me what you think.
I would also like to know of any 4th gen. all grand males that are English that are GRNTCH GRFCH GRWCH GRCH like Casper or any other cross that is all grand. I am looking for producer crosses.

BRIAR CREEK ZEB WON THE SUPER STAKES IN 2003 AND BRIAR CREEK RAT POISON FINISHED IN THE TOP 16 IN THE STATE AND TOP 16 IN THE BREED IN 2004 WHICH IS'NT NEAR THE MONEY THAT ZEB WON BUT IT TAKES ALOT CAST WINS TO FINISH IN THE TOP. I BELIEVE THEY ARE ONLY 3 GENERATION ALL GRAND. I BELIEVE I READ IN A POST ON HERE THAT JESSE ADKINS THUNDER DOG WON LIKE 17 OUT OF 19 CAST TO MAKE GRNITE AND THAT WOULD BE AN AWESOME HUNT AVERAGE DONT YOU THINK.

I have to agree Max Million was a good hound. My Casper dog is from the same cross but he is out of the first litter. Briar Creek Cruise Control, Max Million, and my Prowler are brothers out of the same litter. This cross has produced some fine hounds.

Zeb and Rat Poison are out of Huck a Buck and Ten. Is this not right? They are from the first litter and the females I have are from the second litter. Thunder is out of St. Nick and Queen. He looks a lot like Queen. I think Queen is not as dark blue as Thunder is. Thunder has a good win rate. Casper won 6 of 8 casts of night champion. I know that Rat Poison, and Zeb have great win rates also.Congrads on your wins this year. I know you have won a bunch. Jim and Jeff have won alot. I was the reason Casper lost one of his casts ( I got in a hurry) and the other I had the first strike but Casper got out of the pocket on the other side of the mountain and the hour got him. There are some big mountains down here. If you get down this way come by and lets do a little hunting. I would like to hunt with Rat Poison. I would like to hunt with Zeb one time. If you or Jim get down this way lets go hunting.

Casper is out of Huck a Buck and Lucky. Both of his parents are on the top reproducers list Huck A Buck is #2 current and #7 historical. Lucky is the #2 historical and will take over as #1 female of all time.Ten and Queen are half sisters to Casper for they are out of Durango and Lucky. John calls them the old breeding. This makes Zeb ,Rat Poison, Prowler, Ten, Queen, and Casper related

All of these hounds have great win records. I wonder if Thunder's record would be as good if he hunted against Zeb, Rat Poison, Prowler, and Casper. I invite them all down to find out. This would be great but these hounds are all over the country. Ok it was just a wish. Maybe it will come true one day.The guy that said that the all grand did not mean anything shuold bring their hound and hunt with one of these hounds.

If someone feeding a dog to them they are the best and that is all that matters
Of course I think I have the best (not really, like to believe that) one in Jeff and I little Annie dog that is a littermate to Dan and Thunder. She sure has a mouth for a little 40 lb dog. We will wait and see.
Good Luck with you hounds and let's work together to help the breed.

Guys I know I dont have the best he has been beat by the good and the bad but the thing I like best about this line of dogs is their consistency and you all will agree it plays a real big part

Don I may make it out that way or on your way to Johns stop and we will cut them loose.

There are a lot of good All Grand english out there and it took a lot of people and time out in the woods to make it happen and for that I say THANK YOU for helping improve the breeed

Thanks Pete

GREAT ENGLISH DOGS

With all Grand Pedigree ????????????.........First off I know very little about English dogs never owned one, but have hunted with one here in this County that is a great hound.........He has no all grand pedigree, and the owner could care less..........I believe the dog to be Swamp Rooster bred . This hound has a great mouth track, and tree, and is a fast track dog he trees with his feet upon the tree with a good chop mouth 80 to 90 barks a min. good natured, and no junk.............Straight as they come

Pete & John - You guys better watch out, I got pups out my Wilcox bred female (who I think is great) and Zeb. So really as I see it, I will be hunting both of your lines. The pups were born 9/11 so you will be safe in competition hunts only for a little longer.

All Grand or 4 gen.

I think people over look a lot of great hounds, just to get an all or 3 or 4 gen. grand pedigree. I personally think that people should branch out more. You know, do a little experimentation. Before you know it we breeders are going to end up with a very close maybe even to close knit bunch of hounds. Afraid it might end up like some of the rat terriers around here. People got the breeding so close that the dogs are to high strung and plain out stupid to work with.

Thanks,

I also think people sound look at Dark Time Danny Boy. Danny is all Grand. He has never to my knowledge had an All Grand female bred to him. He is Rooster/Bluegrass Amos bred. Yall boys should look his way.

Guys

When I started this thread I did not want to put down or up anyones hounds. I KNOW EvERYONE HAS THE BEST. What I was wanting to know was what would be the best out cross to breed to my Huck A Buck and Ten females to. All the hounds on here so far are close related. And they are ALL great hounds. They all speak for themselves.
For a breeder I must agree with Pete that consistence is imp. that is one reason to breed all grand. The chances of getting a great pup is better with a all grand. Paperwork doesn't tree coon but when you hunt them and they have good papers it helps sell your pups. Most of my litters are sold before they are born. I keep pups for friends who call or I get them one from the next litter. The most imp. part is that we take care of the kids. I think everyone will agree on that.

DON, THERE ARE SEVERAL DOGS OUT THERE THAT ARE'NT ALL GRAND BUT CAN PRODUCE AN ALL GRAND. PROBABLY ALOT MORE MALE DOGS THAN FEMALES. IF ANY OF YOU GUYS THAT HAVE MALE DOGS THAT ARE ALL GRAND OR CAN PRODUCE ALL GRAND YOU SHOULD CONSIDER GETTING A PUP OUT OF SAILOR AND PEG. THIS WILL BE THE SECOND CROSS AND I HAVE TWO FEMALES OUT OF THE FIRST THAT ARE DOING VERY WELL.

......................GRNITECH CROSSROADS DAN
..............GRNITECH RED CREEK SUDDEN SAILOR
......................GRNITECH RICHARDSONS COON CRAZY DAISEY
........PUPS
......................GRNITECH MICH. SWAMP ROOSTER
...............GRNITECH BLACKHEARTED GIRL PEG II
......................GRNITECH GIRL PEG

THANKS AND GOD BLESS

That is what has me worried. That is why us English Breeders must work together to help our breed. Papers do not tree coon, but if you have a ALL Grand pedigree that is just as good a dog that does not have an All Grand pedigree you are stupid not to have the All Grand pedigree. We need to have some outcrosses to bred to those dogs that have a all grand pedigree. I have one female here that I am going to use as an outcross, but we need other lines that people have worked hard to get so we can keep these dogs in the winner circle. I wished Eugene Boyd was able to still promote the dogs he would have a Boyds Little Joe male at stud.
Their are alot of good English dogs out there, but our breed unlike walkers have only a few lines of dogs. That is going to hurt us becasue we must make outcrosses and if we do not it will hurt our line of English dogs.
Like Don said we are looking for a outcross to bred to the all grand dogs too. I hope someone can help us with this.
Good Hunting

Out crosses

John for some reason it always sounds better when you post it. When I post them it seems to only sound right to me in my head while I am writing it. When I try to type it it is only about half right. When I posted That I wondered if Thunders win record would be as good if he had hunted onto our hounds. Iwas not wanting to put down Thunder in any way.I just wanted to know If they would win with a hound that hunted like he does. See it still does not sound right. All these hounds are good dogs that can win anywhere. And I know that Thunder is a good hound. You give a dumb hillybilly a computer and you can expect he to mess it up. I hate these things.
I got a picture posted but I do not know how to make it bigger without making it blurry. Please type me some more dir. and I will try it one more time. Somewhere on this thing is a lot of pictures of my hounds that I can not find. If someone finds them let me know I would like to find them.
