I have a blue dog that does the same thing, worse in hotter weather. Recent night he was flat on the ground, forced a bottle of water down him and he came to...thought he was done. Acts fine any other time...he is officially retired!

I've had full bloodwork done and everything came back normal...first diagnosis was that he was hyperglycemic but because of the bloodwork results that was incorrect.

I think this may be what he was trying to spell

http://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?A=2103

But I don't think this is what is wrong. Maybe it is, I'm not a vet. Lol
