On Friday and Saturday nights the DeKalb County CHA will host a Slam event at the World Finals. These events are open to any UKC registered coonhound.

The deadline to enter is 8pm both nights with a $30 entry fee. These hunts will take place from the Williams County Fairgrounds in the World Finals Headquarters building.

All categories draw out together at Slams utilizing Championship rules. 55% of the entry fee is paid out to the winners. First, any cast winner (must have a total score of plus points) will receive their entry fee paid back ($30). Second, remaining payout will be paid out to the four dogs with the highest scores. Those final four may opt to hunt it off or split the monies. Any dog, regardless of category, in the final four will receive a First Place win.


Additionally, Nestlé Purina and Tri-Tronics will sponsor a $500 added purse each night at the Slams. These monies will be paid in addition to the %55 of the entry fees.
