 GPS issue

The buttons have locked up on my garmin all I can do is turn it on can't even turn it off. Was hunting in a little rain. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a moisture problem? What Is the solution? Was garmin easy to work with on the issue? Thanks for the help.
