I did something a while back that I just don't do very often, made an outcross. I took one of my good Clover bred females and crossed her on Skuna River Bear. I chose Bear because he was line bred on Homer's Gomer...and I loved that old Gomer dog when I hunted with him.

I had hunted with several of Bear's pups, and liked what I saw out of them from different females.

I kept the whole litter with the exception of two pups...so I have five of these left. They are all started now, and I am offering two of them for sale.

Pup #1 Female
This little female is started, running coon alone, or with (mostly ahead of) other dogs. She is ready to be singled out and hunted hard.



As you can see she is an "on the tree" kind of dog", great tree dog....high pitched squall/ball kind of mouth...

Performance paid, SS ready for a hard hunter!


Pup #2

This little female is a ball of fire, she is in heat as I type this, and will be ready to hunt hard when she goes out of heat..... Same high pitched mouth, easy to hear a long way!

Guys, don't be afraid of these females...I have two of them, just like this that I'm keeping!

These are not spoiled, ruined, shy, or grouchy.....they are the last ones to get started because I only have so many resources.....I'm going to end up keeping the first two I got started, just because they were the first two to get started.....they are further along, and that is the ONLY reason I picked them over the others...

I will start singling out the one that isn't in heat and the price will ONLY go up.

I get three calls a week wanting started females...now is the time to strike while the iron is hot!!!!

They are 13 months old, and they really have not been singled out. They were started with other pups, and then were used to help start other pups.....never been hunted with an "old dog".

They don't really need "help" to tree a coon, but have not yet been singled out. That will change....

Nice young started females, well bred, out of proven reproducers...treeing coon, just need the pads hunted off their feet....every pup in this litter is treeing coon alone.....don't miss out!
