Is there any value in a non working dc -40? I'm wondering if they carry any trade in value with Garmin. I remember you used to be able to send garmin DC 30s and around $100 and they would send u a refurbished one. Is it the same with the 40s?

I looked on garmin's website and I think they would trade you a refurbished DC 40 for $89.

I just did this with a bad DC-40.
Send it back to Garmin with $99 and get a new DC-50.
