Correct Size Circle at Field Trial and Swims

Please use the correct size circle 20 feet to pole on all sides. I have seen small circles cause dogs that come treeing to lose. Many of us train dogs to come treeing and if they have all 4 feet in circle and facing tree when barking. They win if they bark first. Plain and simple.

Field trials on line make sure your line judges are correct width apart.

Please follow the rules in the book they are very good on what is expected. Making up your own rules is not fair to all.

We saw a small circle at redbone days cost a dog in final ( Not mine either) Redbone dog came treeing in final head up easily in 20 foot circle there's was about 10 feet. Vote was 2-1 reason being outside of a short circle. Saw many came treeing dogs down there. It was a excellent performance by dogs. Very good trainers.

We are dedicated to all hound events please follow the rules in the sport.

Thank you, Jeff Ashmore
