Pennsylvania State Youth Championship, Saturday June 21

PA, Laurelville; Pennsylvania State Youth Championship Jct. 982 & Rte. 31. Rte. 982 north, 1/4 mi. Turn right. Go 1 mi. Signs posted. Contact Bruce Knopsnider (724) 455-3345

Jun 21 BS 3:30pm, $5 NH 1.5 hr 7:00pm, $10

This Saturday, June 21, is the PA State Youth Championship. This is one of the biggest youth events in the country. Come join us at Laurel Highlands Coonhunters Club in Laurelville, PA for a full day of activites. We will be starting at 1 pm with some games, come early for a chance to win some prizes! The bench show will start at 3:30 pm with a $5.00 entry fee and the night hunt deadline is 7:00 pm with a $10.00 entry fee. Each youth that enters the show or the hunt will receive a ticket for an item donated by our various sponsors. A huge variety of prizes have been donated, hunting supplies, camping items, etc.

This event will also be our 4th annual Chad Hoover Memorial Scholarship hunt in which the 1st and 2nd place overall night hunt winners will be awarded a $500 scholarship each.

use to hunt in this every year till I got to old this year great hunt wish I was a kid agin sometimes

I eamt to thank everyone who was involved. Everything was very organized. Our cast didn't see a coon but it was still a fun time for the kids.

Thank you all for your participation, it truly is a great event that involves a lot of planning and a lot of work.

Thank you to all those that helped judge and guide, we had 11 casts go to the woods Saturday night. I will have the results posted tomorrow for everyone to see.
