Redbone 'coonhound' pup

Bought my first redbone hound pup alittle more than a year ago. At 14 months old and after seeing about 8 cage coons hoisted up trees, he finally did it himself. Took him out tonight and let him go just down wind of one of my coon feeders. Took off opened up on track and treed a quick coon about 80 yards from the feeder. He's got along way to go and a lot more frustrating nights before he gets good but tonight he did darn good, so he's gettin closer to being able to be called a coonhound. Doubt I'll ever forget that feeling of seeing that masked bandit up the hemlock with that redbone pup howling hard up the tree for the first time
