I have a pretty loud one really. He gets to rolling on tree. You cant even hear a loud dog to know if hes there or not. Plus hes 95% accurate even in winter. I cant say hes a first strike dog though. Id be lying. He usually a second strike dog if your hunting with one other dog.

I had 1 so loud that I couldnt hunt him within a half mile of a house. He would come on a tree with such a roar that it would set off car alarms and then toward the end of his locate he would hit just the right note and shatter all the crystal glassware in the nearby houses.
Well you can imagine between the alarms going off and the glass shattering I soon lost my welcome from the landowners and was forced to cull ol boomer.

I hunted with one named Mylermor. When he treed a coon he would dig a hole at the base of the tree and stick his head in and bark out his butt. You could hear him a mylermor !
