Pup has a limp

My 5 month old pup is walking with a bad limp. No cuts or signs of anything that could cause it. Was walking around fine for a hr in the yard then all sudden started limping. Does anyone have any ideas what might be since there is no cuts. He eats and drinks fine so I don't think it's a tick bite.

Like the above poster said it could be lyme disease, but it could also be as simple as a strain or sprain in the leg. Rest for a few days and see if it improves. No running or jumping. You might try icing it to and see if that helps.

I'm hoping it just a sprain we looked it over couple times real good. He still wants to play and all that. I just hope it's not lime froma tick bite. Going to vet tomorrow after work just to be sure. Thanks for all the ideas
