If he's crazy over coon like you say he is, I'd put a shock collar on good and tight, then ride around and find a deer to drop him on. If he runs him, let him get a good nose full, then light him up. Then take him home and put him up. Next night fool with a caged coon, pet him up good, then turn it loose for him. Next night find another deer to drop him on, if he runs it light him up, then take him home. If not, take him and turn him loose at one of your feeders.
Shouldn't take more than 2 or 3 times of that for him to figure out that coon=fun, and deer=OUCH!
